Pomegranate is rich in vitamin C, A, E, iron, potassium and antioxidant phytochemicals such as polyphenols. It also contains high amounts of fiber, and low calorie content. It also contains high amounts of antioxidants, such as tannins, anthocyanins and ellagic acid.
